On the morning of November 2, the torch relay for the 15th National Games kicked off simultaneously in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area. In the southern coastal city of Shenzhen, CITIC COHC's AW139 helicopter delivered the first-ever aerial torch relay in National Games history. This milestone represents a significant step forward in how China's low-altitude economy strategy empowers its major sports events.

Carrying the torch that was ignited from combustible ice collected from the deep sea, the helicopter took to the sky from the Lotus Hill Park in Futian district. After a 15-minute, 40-km westward flight over Shenzhen, it landed at Qianhai, in Shenzhen's Nanshan district.
The journey of the torch from Lotus Hill to Qianhai — from the ground to the sky — exemplifies how CITIC COHC's technology bridges sportsmanship and urban development. It's more than just a torch relay, but an embodiment of the games theme "empowerment through technology" while showcasing the low-altitude economy value chain in the Greater Bay Area.
